At home on vacation
Wake up with the first rays of the sun and the chirping of birds, walk through the flower meadow covered with dew and enjoy the first coffee on the wooden balcony. Nobody far and wide. The air smells of flowers, forest and sun and we are in no hurry. At breakfast we will decide whether to go to the lake or to the mountain... this is what a morning in our Almhaus in Innerkrems in Upper Carinthia can look like. Being snowed in in winter, enjoying the bio sauna after a snowshoe hike and preparing for the evening of games... Every season brings wonderful opportunities to enjoy time out in nature in your own home.

Our rustic and cozy chalet made of solid wood is located in the village of Innerkrems at 1480 m above sea level, between two national parks and offers absolute peace and relaxation thanks to its secluded location in the center. The living area is 100 m², plus 10 m² of basement and a
4 m² Finnish sauna.
Freshly renovated, it awaits families, couples or friends...
We rent our chalet all year round. It is ideal for an independent self-catering holiday, offers complete tranquility, sleeps a maximum of 6 people and is superbly equipped. It is located in the Katschberg- Lieser-Maltatal region and is surrounded by the two national parks Hohe Tauern and Nockberge.
The Millstättersee region is 20 minutes away by car, the Katschberg ski area around 30 minutes.
So you have the choice between fantastic opportunities for hikes, mountain bike tours, countless outdoor activities, bathing days at the lake or a relaxing trip to the medieval town of Gmünd.
After the mountain bike tour or the hike, you can put your dirty clothes in the washing machine and relax your muscles in the in-house sauna.
Dinner is taken at sunset on the south-facing balcony, accompanied by a cricket concert and then a glass is enjoyed under the clear starry sky.
Snow-covered winter days are spent on the Katschberg, a snow-sure family ski destination, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or cuddling in front of the cozy tiled stove...
